 Hi, I'm Steph, founder of Salty Dog Bookkeeping.

I believe business owners shouldn't have to choose between running their business and understanding their finances. Unfortunately, that's the reality for many contractors and service professionals. I've always been drawn to the coast, travel, and the feeling of freedom that comes with being near the water. To me, a "Salty Dog" represents experience, resilience, and the confidence that comes from navigating rough waters and calmer seas alike.

That's exactly how I approach bookkeeping. Business ownership has its ups and downs, but you don't have to navigate them alone. My job is to help you chart a clear course with reliable financial information and steady support along the way.

When I'm not working with clients, you'll usually find me spending time with my family, traveling in our RV, exploring new places, or enjoying a day near the water whenever I can. Our black Labradoodle is almost always part of the adventure and is a big part of the inspiration behind the Salty Dog name and brand.

That love of travel, the beach, and simple adventures shapes the personality of my business. I believe bookkeeping doesn't have to feel cold or intimidating. It can be approachable, supportive, and even a little fun.
